Kyuubi had landed his first blow on him, but he had been lucky it was on the right side of his face, the side that had already been permanently injured. his golden eye looked at Kyuubi and he almost growled, but being a turtle it was very hard to do that. He clamped his jaw shut and gritted the spikey pieces of flesh he called teeth. He opened them and tensed his leg muscles, throwing himself into the air and coming down towards Kyuubis back, the spikes on his shell upturned as he flipped over to land a blow with the spikes.

Nekomata looked bemused at the fight. Two on one, true they were not fair odds but when did demons fight fair. His eyes narrowed watching the fight carefully. Being the resident of an observing ninja. Even though he was not in the fight at the moment, it was still possible that the battle would turn in his direction. There had to be a weak point to each of these demons, whatever it was he had to find it. Eyes watched carefully, trying to see through the attacks. This seemed a lot simpler when Aori did it, maybe he did not have the nack for this. Bah, he would not be outclassed by a human.
A sudden jolt stirred the twin tail, making him glance quickly around himself. What caused that? None of the other demons were affected. The black cat's ears flattened. No, not now. It is too soon. Nekomata muttered to himself. It was happening, the little domestic feline was waking. He had to switch hosts and quick. Eyes closed, feeling tinglings and twitches down his spine and legs. The image of the massive twin tail was blurring in and out of focus as his host was stirring violently.
One eye opened, glancing over at the fidgeting cat beside herself. It appeared that the little Kira was having a nightmare, again. Though in truth she knew what was causing her companion's stress. That lowly demon, Nekomata. Though as often as these nightmare's were, she had never seen Kira so shakey. Something had to be going on with Nekomata to cause this.
A sigh escaped the young ninja, as her eye fell closed. "What are you doing?" She questioned, knowing that a link exsisted between the three of them. Aori wanted, needed to find out what the blasted twin-tail was up two.
The link opened, allowing Nekomata to shift into Aori's mind. "Ah, you've come."muttered the cat, grinning. "Sorry, but I need to stay here for a bit." He added, tails lashing voilently.
Aori tipped over, falling into a heap beside Kira. Eyes closed, mouth gapping slightly. Kira stirred, still drowsy from sleep. The cat half yawned, curling up beside her master.
The twin tail's eyes flared open, now able to enjoy this fight in full.

Naw Naw, Wataketh. You can join in if you want D;) Relief began to pass through him as Houkou had loosened. But pain zipped through him like a stray kunai. Blood began to pour from his back as the white dogs claws raked his back. On top of that, that blasted turtle had just jumped at him. The spikes of the shell drove into his flesh, large amounts of orange fur falling to the ground with each attack.
Orange fur flashing widly, huge shadows moving violently, blood splattering the floor. Images passed through his mind quickly, each with a wave of pain. Naruto was laying on his side, clutching the sheets. His back had began to bleed in the same place where the Kyuubi was cut, his face bleeding equally as much.
The kitsune coulden't handle pain and began to buck widely again in a blind rage. He stopped when he saw Nekomata just sitting there, viewing the fight. He snarled loudly, his fur puffing up again as he was about to run at the two-tailed cat.

"Damn." Kaku muttered, shifing into the sand. He'd come to stay by the twin-tail again, but now that Kyuubi was coming in that direction, the badger thought it best to move. So, with a few flicks of his tails, Kaku zipped his small body underground.
Only to reappear beside Houkou. Well, that would be okay. The demon was bleeding profusely, and he highly doubted that he'd be attacked. 'I don't think anyone here will win. It seems to be an even draw.'

The twin tail hissed, fangs revealed from under the black lips. So the fox had changed his opponent and towards himself, and Nekomata was not going to stand for that. Tails flicked violently behind the cat, his own anger rising at the fox. Ears flattened tight against his skull, fore legs were slightly parted as he slowly lowered himself for a lundge. Wings extended above his body, the one thing he had that none of the others did. A power of flight, though he could not sustain it for long it would help to avoid the attacks from the Kyuubi.
His host was out cold, being in a fragile state when he attacked. This helped him greatly. No worring if the host would wake suddenly, or the jolts of pain when she stirred. Now he was truly free to fight, and there was no way he would lose to a fox. Eyes narrowed on the charging Kyuubi, waiting for the right time to strike.

He mumbled, turning back to watch Kyuubi strike at Nekomata. "Kyuubi! There is no need for pointless fighting!"He bellowed, a thunderous, haunting tone.[/ul]

Kaku nodded, looking from Houkou to Nekomata to Kyuubi. he /could/ create some sort of earthen barrier between the two demons...But would the dirt here work? This place was unchangeable. So, maybe...The badger turned his dark eyes to the white dog, and quizzed, "Should we stop them?"

Houkou stated, lunging forward, stopping himself in the path of the enraged Kyuubi. He wouldn't let the fox go bezerk; but he also wouldn't let the demons just attack eachother out of pure joy. No way in hell. He had to hold the fort down. Blood-thirsty eyes narrowed onto the charging Kyuubi, never flinching. Even if he was in the Nine-Tails attack path, he wouldn't let him carry it out.[/ul]

Isonade half smiled when his shell spikes had hit the Kyuubi, if he'd missed that attack the soft side of his shell would've been vulnerable. He let out a large sigh and began waddling back to the lake so he could go rest in his underwater cave and heal up.
Koizumi gripped the side of his bed, his knuckles white from the pressure of the grip. He'd felt a sharp pain on the right side of his face, like his skin was splitting open for no reason, then it started bleeding. His teeth were gritted, trying to block out the pain by putting so much pressure on his jaw.

He was about to leap at the two-tailed cat, but the five-tailed dog got in the way. This was pushing his anger over the edge. "I gave you a chance to get away, Houkou, far too many times." He growled through clenched teeth. He took two paw steps forwards again, before looking over at the retreating Isonade. "Coward! Your all cowards!" He snarled, leaning back on his haunches and snapping at the air in rage. It was true, his body was in no form or shape to have another fight or endure it, but something sparked in his mind.
Naruto would never give up.
He snarled to himself, maybe the yellow-monkey was rubbing off on him. With a failing attempt, his tails lashing as if they were his followers into battle, he charged at Houkou. Hoping he could reach Nekomata too. He tried to bowl him over, jaw open with his teeth ready to snap shut, claws in the air to strike.

Isonade almost stopped in his tracks, a glint in his golden eye. He smiled and turned, seeing an excellent opportunity for a 'surprise' attack. He opened his mouth as wide as it would go and shot out massive chakra infused balls of water, aiming directly for the scratches at Kyuubi's back. Man if I land this that salt'll get into those scratches, oofta. Isonade thought and chuckled softly.

Nekomata growled when the five tailed lept between himself and the nine tailed. Interference, something the cat hated. Though the dog had lept in the way, it gave the twin tail a moment to think. It was true that he could not with stand a frontal attack from the fox, and he doubted that his wings could get him to a safe distance in time. Eyes darted around, trying to find something of use to the cat. He could not find anything, just a hole where the badger came out of.
A smirk pulled back on the twin tail's lips. A hole, though with his wings adding bulk he could not fit down inside of it. It did not matter, he was not going to flew this fight. Right forepaw slid over to the hole. Claws raking at the inside of the tunnel. Ugh dirt, and getting caked into his claws. The fox would pay dearly for this. Nekomata turned his head back to the canines, a rumbling hiss come from his slightly parted lips.
Thrusting his paw up, the twin tail sent a wave of dirt flying towards the fox. Wings flared out, beating slowly. Wind whisped from the leathery wings, pushing the dirt faster towards the nine tail. Adding speed it would make the dirt a rather good weapon.
