So, you've been there all along? You're the one that's keeping my chakra-vision intact...Why? What do you have to gain? Why are you inside me? What did I do wrong? How did I not know?!
Sakai's mind was dark, foggy, unclear. Something wasn't right in there...But was it ever normal? It had never been, and only now did she notice.
"So, you thought I was just some made-up vision in your little mind?"
"Well, yes...I didn't think a smallish badger could live in my head."
"But I have been. All your life, helping you to see. Why, you ask? I have to live on. And to do so, I need hosts. You're my host now, and if you die, I do as well. Like the Kyuubi once said...It's a win-win situation. But piss me off, and you'll be in hellish pain."
Sakai winced as a portion of her body went numb with pain. Clutching her arm, she made her way from a bed to her apartment window.
"I understand...but piss me off, and I have no problems killing us both."
The Kaku seethed at this, rattling the bars of his clay-based cage. Sakai sat before him, smiling. "I'm not afraid of the pain, because I know how to deal."
Suddenly, Kaku lashed out, sending Sakai's real body into shock. So much pain...How could something so small hurt so bad?
"Like I said, don't piss me off. I can kill too, you know."
Sakai, now writhing on her floor, gasped for air. "Fine, we have an agreement. We'll...keep each other alive...For now."
Kaku nodded, retreating to the darkness of the cage. "I'll get out soon, and once I consume you, you'll wish you'd never been born."
