Massive trees stood before the group, trees like no one has ever seen. These trees gave one a feeling of uneasy, unimportantance. It was a major reality check for everyone, the world was so large and yet humans so small. How was one ever to make a name for them self with such a large world.
Undaunted by the trees before her, a young ninja slowly survived the other Genin that had passed the first exam. Eyes as pale as a distant fog, darted from one ninja to the next. Trying to gain any advantage over her future opponents. Some Genin carried see able weapons, which gave hints to their technique. This is what the young Mist Genin was looking for. Even though some ninjas carried their weapons in plain view, others hid theirs well. Knowing some of the techniques that certain villages specialized in, she began to note faces to headbands.
Though this wait in front of the massive trees was quite annoying and aggravating, it gave her a chance to see her opponents before being tossed into the forest. Slowly she turned, looking back at the trees behind the towering metal gates. Not only was there the other ninjas to worry about, but whatever lurked within those trees as well. This was a part of the Chuunin exam, so the forest had to have its share of secrets. There was no way that it would just be there as a battle ground, there had to be a catch.
Tiring of the long wait, the Mist ninja propped her hands lightly on her hips. Being around so many other ninjas made her uneasy, not knowing what they intended. Most likely other ninjas were either getting antsy or were taking this time to prepare for what lies ahead. As for herself, she had yet to pin point anyone that she longed to fight. No one caught her eye as a challenge, though she had to cut some slack considering that everyone was just standing around and not fighting. Perhaps there were ninjas among this crowd that would prove to be a formidable opponent.
